Today our president Kate dropped off several bags of food donations to Power Neighbourhood House in Ashwood. This was a great initiative set up through the club to support such a worthwhile cause in the lead up to Christmas 🎄

Here is our team ready to take on Mazenod tomorrow in our second T20.
Led by Danny Melissinos with the inclusion of Tom Sheehan, it’s an exciting chance for redemption after a tough first game.
Let’s look to get as many supporters there as possible, as the BBQ will be on, the bar will be open and there will be plenty of activities for kids.
All supporters please wear any Burwood gear you have!

🚨RESULTS🚨
Some interesting matches went ahead this past weekend with none having a better result than our Sunday 1st XI. Batting first and putting on 8/209 including an 80 run partnership from Hamish Kenny and Sam Gillard, the two finishing on 31 and 73* respectively.

Burwood’s start to the bowling innings started well with Mason Hodge removing the danger bat early. Rapha Deane-Johns’ blinder in the slips and his death bowling with Ollie Davies ensured it would be difficult for Endeavour Hills to pull off the chase. Thankfully the game tipped Burwood’s way and the game was won in the final over, which would not have been possible without the three crucial runouts completed in the final 4 overs.
Overall, some very positive signs as the youth lead the way to victory.

🚨RESULTS🚨

A mixed bag of results this weekend with some standout performances. None more important than Harry Cullinan’s hat-trick and 4fa! Unbelievably this is Harry’s second hat-trick in the space of 11 months and it came against the same team he tore apart in February with his 6fa.

Not the result we were looking for in our opening T20. Our next matchup is on Tuesday 17th December at Burwood Reserve.

Burwood’s 2024/25 t20 campaign kicks off tonight against Ashwood and there’s a stacked line up in today looking to start with a bang and bring home the points for the black and gold. Massive turnout expected to be seen on the sidelines today so make sure to get there and be a part of it at 5:30pm @ Jingella Reserve 💛🖤💛🖤 #BCC

Yet another rain affected weekend sees only one team get on the park, with no results across the board.
Our attention now goes too the first t20 tomorrow night at Essex Heights Reserve against Ashwood.

T20 Fixtures for the ECA Kookaburra Cup have been released. We take on Ashwood, Mont Albert and Trinity Willison across 3 games. Led by skipper Daniel Melissinos, the T20s provide the perfect opportunity to showcase some exquisite power hitting and some lethal wicket taking bowling. Be sure to get around the team and support them in anyway that you can. Go Burwood 💛🖤💛🖤

A disappointing round of results sees only our 3rd XI record a victory, with weather playing a role in the whole weekend and ruining the fun for our Sunday and Vets teams
